Difference Between Seagate Expansion and Seagate Backup Plus Hard Disk?

0 votes
I want to buy a new hard disk to take back up of my laptop. I want to take overall backup in case of system damage and also the backup of movies, videos, photos and song. My brother bought Seagate hard disk last year and it is working very well. I saw online reviews of Seagate hard disk, which are also very good. I am going with Seagate hard disk, but there is one little confusion. There are two versions of Seagate 1TB hard disk. Seagate Expansion and Seagate Backup Plus. Seagate Backup Plus is little bit more expensive than Seagate Expansion. What would you suggest? What is the difference between Seagate Expansion and Seagate Backup Plus? Which hard disk you will prefer?

The difference between Seagate Expansion and Seagate Backup Plus is that Seagate Backup Plus hard disk comes with a backup software. Seagate Bakup Plus hard disk is also smaller in size. This is why Seagate Backup Plus is little bit more expensive than Seagate Expansion hard disk. Both of these hard disks do not need external power supply. Read this article for detailed comparison between two hard disks. You can find more information related to Seagate Backup Plus on this page - Seagate Backup Plus FAQ.
